Hidden Treasures Final Fling and Just Cute Bears

Good evening to anyone who happens to hop over to my blog - thank you for stopping by.

I am very sorry that the Hidden Treasures Challenge has decided to close and I understand only too well when Kelli says that it has become too stressful. I find the same myself. I have not had much time lately plus there are other things I am wanting to do - like patchwork quilting - but all the time I feel I must try and make time to make a card and enter a challenge. I don't know why because it is very rare that I ever win one!!
Anyway, do keep in touch Kelli and good luck in whatever you are doing.

Here is my card for the final Hidden Treasures Challenge - the theme of which was Turquoise and Orange. I thought I would also tie it in with the Just Cute Bear sketch.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
We are going to an Evening Wedding do on Saturday and on Sunday we are having a get together at my nieces house because my other niece is back from Australia for 3 weeks. Hi Jude, if you get to look at this - see you Sunday. It will be nice to see my grandchildren and my sisters grandchildren all together - I am sure it will be fun.

A Threesome!

Now don't be rude, it is not what you are thinking!!!

I have made a card using the sketch at Sketch Saturday and once again using one of the Lili of the Valley Die Cuts (it saves on colouring). I noticed over at Totally Paper Crafts that the Challenge was an easel card with a male theme so I thought this card would do for that as well.
At Hidden Treasures there has to be a ribbon on your card, which I have used on the base and on the middle of the card, so this card qualifies for all three challenges - that is what I mean by a Threesome!
The DP is some that I have had for ages and I am not sure what it is.
The silver thingies are from Craftwork Cards and I have used a Martha Stewart Deep Border punch.

What a hot day it has been today - at least I have got all my washing dry and just need to iron it, my favourite job!!!
Tonight it took me nearly an hour to water the garden and the hanging baskets.
I am going to have a sit down and a pot of coffee now.
