House Mouse Challenge

Another quick post to show you a card that I made for my brother-in-law's birthday last Saturday.
I based it on this weeks House Mouse Challenge but, once again, I know I have not used everything in the sketch but thought I would still enter it.
Andrew, my brother in law, is quite into golf so I thought this would be the perfect stamp for him.

Now what do you really think that little animal is?
Of course, we can all see that it is a Mouse isn't it. When I showed my husband the card he said What's that on it? A llama?
Can you believe that because I couldn't. We already go to Specsavers so I can only presume it was a senile moment!!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Good Afternoon everyone - a bit of a miserable day here at the moment. At least it kept fine for me whilst I walked to my camera class and back.
Just a quick post to show my card for the Sketch Saturday Challenge.

As you will see I have used a House Mouse stamp - it is one that I have had for a while and I found it whilst I was searching through my Christmas Stamps.
The paper is some that I bought from The Dome last year - I am looking forward to going there again a week on Sunday.
Thank you for looking.

Sketch and Stash Challenge

Good Evening,
Just time for this post before I watch Coronation Street. I don't know what has happened to this card but I had a go at brushing some distress ink onto the white background. I tried it first on two scrap images using "Worn Lipstick" (that is the name of the ink I used, not some old lipstick!!). I did it last night and today when I came to put the card together the ink has gone a strange colour whilst the ink on the scrap pieces has remained pink!! Isn't that rather strange?
So here is the card anyway. I have used an old House Mouse stamp that I have had for some time but could never colour it properly until I got my Copic Markers.
The paper is by Basic Grey and the card is for the Sketch and Stash Challenge.

Thank you for looking, must dash.

luv Eileen x
