Sketch Saturday

Only a quick post today to show you my card for the Sketch Saturday challenge - which was a sketch.
Here is the sketch

and here is my interpretation of the sketch.
The papers are pink petticoat and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Before I go I must tell you that I am aching a bit today because, with it being a nice day yesterday, I decided to rotavate (don't know if that is spelt right) my veg plot. It is easier than digging but by the time I had finished it at tea time I had blisters and white finger syndrome (is that what they call it when you have been using power tools?) Anyway I did enjoy it and managed to get my winter onions in as well so it was a very productive day.
thank you for looking.

A Threesome!

Now don't be rude, it is not what you are thinking!!!

I have made a card using the sketch at Sketch Saturday and once again using one of the Lili of the Valley Die Cuts (it saves on colouring). I noticed over at Totally Paper Crafts that the Challenge was an easel card with a male theme so I thought this card would do for that as well.
At Hidden Treasures there has to be a ribbon on your card, which I have used on the base and on the middle of the card, so this card qualifies for all three challenges - that is what I mean by a Threesome!
The DP is some that I have had for ages and I am not sure what it is.
The silver thingies are from Craftwork Cards and I have used a Martha Stewart Deep Border punch.

What a hot day it has been today - at least I have got all my washing dry and just need to iron it, my favourite job!!!
Tonight it took me nearly an hour to water the garden and the hanging baskets.
I am going to have a sit down and a pot of coffee now.

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Hi there.
I have had a walk down to our Kath's today to have a look at her baby blue tits on the television. They are so gorgeous. It was lovely watching the mum and dad going in and out of the box feeding them.
She had been looking at my blog and said she did not like the magnolia stamp I had used because it looked like a pregnant angel - I suppose it does a bit.

Well here is my card for Sketch Saturday - using one of the Gorjuss girls, I really like this one - hope you do to.

I am looking forward to going to a class tomorrow on how to use the Copic Markers.
See you soon.
luv
