I'm Back!!

Hi Everyone,
Just a quick post tonight to let you know that I am hoping to back with you this week.
I have been so busy with my decorating and then I went on holiday for a week to Tenerife from the 19th of March and just got back last night.

We have had a lovely holiday but the night before we went I spotted some midget gems and thought I would just have a couple. Not a good idea!! I had literally only just put them in my mouth when I found something hard - that's right, I had broken part of a tooth. Of course I couldn't go to the dentist so I have been quite lucky that the filling stayed in all through the holiday and now I will have to ring up on Monday for an appointment.

I know that this might seem like a silly thing to say but I would like as many people as possible to take a look at the picture below and then leave a comment telling me what their interpretation is of what it says on the bottle of suntan cream (and the box) In case you can't read it, it says "Tan Without Burning. Once a Day Sunfilter. Water-proof"

Please leave me a comment telling me what you think that means. I will tell you later in the week why. Please encourage your fellow bloggers to leave a comment, I am very interested to find out how you interpret these words.

Thank you for looking and I am hoping to find some time this week for cardmaking
luv

Whiff of Joy Challenge

Back again - but only a quick post.
I started this card last week but have just not had the chance to finish it until today - I always seem to be last minute.
David finished the plastering on Saturday and I thought I would be getting round to papering by the end of this week - but nothing seems to have gone right and there seems to have been so much more to do that what I thought.
Because he slarted the plaster on the skirting boards I have had to spent ages preparing them and I now won't get round to undercoating until Thursday. We are going on holiday soon so I was hoping to have the decorating finished before then.
Anyway here is my card for the Whiff of Joy Challenge.

Hope you like it!! love eileen x

Julies Open House

Hi Everyone,
At last I have managed to find time to surf the internet.

Last Friday me and "our Kath" went over to Julies and had a lovely time.
We met Sharon, who looked very familiar but I don't know where I know her from.
Thanks Sharon for visiting my blog - I have had a quick shufty at yours but will have a proper look later this week.
I went back to our Kath's afterwards and stayed there as long as I could because my husband had said he was coming home to do some plastering. When I finally went home he had been doing preparation and had only just started mixing his first lot of plaster (at 3.30pm) so then I had to start and clean the bucket and mix more plaster and clean the bucket and mix more plaster etc. etc. I was really not in the mood for it after having a nice time at Julies.

Anyway this is the card that we made at Julies and I really love these Bella Bleu papers (don't know if I have spelt it correctly)

I don't think the photo does it justice but I have only just taken the photo tonight. Back again in a few minutes with another card.

luv eileen x
