Hidden Treasures Challenge

Well isn't that typical of England? All that hype and build up and then they can only draw against USA. All the money that these footballers are on and they can't even kick a ball into the net!!
Well we won't dwell on that too long.
I have had a lovely day out today at Boundary Mills at Colne. I collect Portmerion Pottery and there was quite a bit of it on sale at - would you believe - 75% off. Of course I just had to buy quite a bit of it whether I needed it or not - it was such a bargain.

Tomorrow we are going to Chesterfield to go out for a meal with my son and his wife and my daughter, her husband and my gorgeous Florence. It is my son's birthday on Tuesday.

On the card front I have had quite a time with this card for the Hidden Treasures Challenge. This is a new challenge and has not had many entrants yet so please hop over to the blog and take part in the challenge. The challenge was to make a circle card. Not so long since I made a circle easel card and it seemed so easy to do that I thought I would do one again.

I got out my Martha Stewart Circle cutter and cut a circle card out - but it didn't turn out just right so after a couple of attempts I decided to change the blade. I now have a plaster on my thumb and one on my forefinger where I managed to stab myself with the blade.
I gave in and decided to do this one using nesties.
So after a lot of trouble - here is my card.

the base card is from Stampin Up and the DP is from a new pack of papers that I bought and I just loved the colours in it.
Of course the image is Penny Black.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
