Mistletoe....without the wine!!

Back to blogging at last - I have had such a busy week. I don't know how people find time to work and do cards as well.

On Tuesday I met up with my daughter and grand-daughter in Doncaster - I went on the train and really enjoyed it.
We went Christmas shopping but I only bought a pair of slippers!!!

Wednesday was a bit of a messed up day.
Some friends had come up from Stroud and wanted to meet us for lunch.
My husband took time off work and we met at 12.30pm - they were wanting to be off at 1.10pm because he was going taking photos of a fire engine!!!!

Today started off well but then the car took 3 times to start.
I parked it at Sainsburys and when I went back I couldn't believe it - someone had bumped the wing. I was stood there swearing under my breath when I wasn't my car!
I think I should go back to bed.
Anyway back to card-making and here is the sketch for the Truly Scrumptious Challenge

and here is my card

I saw this Kenny K digital image on someone's blog and I absolutely loved it.

It is actually called Mistletoe Girl but she is holding a bunch of Holly.

I think I will be doing quite a few of these and I am sure it will be a hit with all the men - don't you think?

I don't know about anyone else but I keep having trouble with my spacing on blogger.
Anyway it is nearly weekend now - we have rugby tomorrow and I won't be around next week
so have a good weekend and a good week.

Hi Eileen - love the card! I bought this and the other Christmas girls last week but haven't had chance to have a play yet - I really don't know where the time goes either. Love the story about the car too - bet you were relieved when you realised it wasn't yours lol.

Have a great week whatever you're doing!

Love Lynda xxx
