Challenging!!!

Hi

It is not such a nice day today here in Yorkshire, it keeps raining and is really quite cold - I have just turned the heating up a bit!

I have a card for you today that is a little bit different.
I saw the idea over on Monica's blog and thought I would have to have a go at it.
It is a twisted easel card.

Being a bit senile as I am, I ended up sticking it on the wrong way round and had to prize it off again as I had already made the maid part of the card ready to stick on to the easel bit - if you follow me!

Unfortunately I then ran out of ink on my printer and haven't been able to get to the shop for another so, being in a rush to enter my card in the Just Magnolia Challenge, I have photographed it as it is without sticking the sentiment part onto the bottom half of the card - this is getting quite hard to explain but I am sure you will understand.

Here is the Just Magnolia Sketch

and here is the main bit of my card

and this is the rest of it...

I know it does not look anything special just left like that but at least you get the gist of what it is supposed to look like.
I think I need a cuppa now!!!
Thank you for looking.

Hi Eileen - this is so pretty - love the turquoise colour scheme and the card design.

(Yes - it is flippin' cold and miserable in Yorkshire today)!

Hi hun, this is a gorgeous card and I love the colours and I do get the gist of what it will look like. I haven't had a go at a twisted easel yet, probably cos they do look complicated .... but will try eventually! LOL. It;s bloomin' cold down here in the Midlands too and hasn't stopped raining all day ... all very depressing. Hugs, Claire x
